NEEWER CB100C 130W RGB COB LED Video Light

I love it. It's a great studio light. The housing feels like a metal composite material but it feels sturdy, the heatsinks are good, the fan is very quiet as I haven't noticed it at all. The light is very bright it fills the whole room. The buttons are nice and clicky and the screen is bright. The RGB functionality works great it makes all the colors you want and it looks good. The warm/cool light range is great. It comes with effects pre loaded and you can create your own as well. I like the lightning and the police light effects. Overall it feels like one of those products that is just right for it's intended use. I'll be using it for photography, podcasts, and some content creation.

I'm not an expert in video production, but the integration of the Neewer app with all compatible lights has certainly caught my attention. While these lights might not meet the exacting standards required by professional videographers, due to issues such as light consistency, they are an excellent choice for beginners or those just starting out on YouTube. The Neewer lights offer a solid performance that's sure to satisfy, and while I can't speak to their long-term durability just yet, the quality of materials used in both the CB100c ( fully made out of aluminum and fan noise well controlled by variable speed) and the RGB1 LED Tube is visibly superior. What's truly remarkable is the ability to create scenes within the app, a feature I couldn't achieve with GVM lights. As of now, I'm quite impressed. Considering the current promotions, it's hard to find anything else on the market that matches the price, quality, and stability offered by Neewer. Initially, I considered starting with Amaran lights, but their price is almost three times higher, and I doubt I'd notice any significant difference in color accuracy at my level of expertise. I plan to provide an update in the future, but my initial impressions are very positive.

Superb RGB lamp, excellent build and strong output.

Great light. I use it with a softbox for streaming in a small office and keep it under 30% power for normal usage. It was a major improvement over the LED panels.

I recently purchased the NEEWER CB100C 130W RGB LED Video Light for my work studio, but it’s quickly become my go-to light for all kinds of events, including parties! The power of this light is unbelievable—at just 50% brightness, it’s so bright that it literally lights up the entire neighbourhood!The color reproduction is top-notch, thanks to the 97+ CRI and 98+ TLCI, which makes it a fantastic choice for video recording, photoshoots, live streaming, and all kinds of creative work. The 17 preset scene effects in FX mode are a lot of fun, and the ability to adjust color temperature from 2700K to 6500K, along with full control over hue and saturation, gives me a lot of versatility.One of the features I love the most is the ability to control the lights using the NEEWER app, which works seamlessly to control multiple lights at once. The cooling fan is quiet and efficient, and when running at less than 75% brightness, the fan rarely kicks in at all, making this light absolutely silent. This is perfect for when I’m filming with live audio, as there’s no distracting noise from the equipment.The solid metal shell and Bowens mount are perfect for all sorts of accessories, and the tripod mount allows for easy angle adjustments. After trying the 130W version, I’m so impressed that I’m planning to buy four or five more of their more powerful units for my studio. If you’re looking for professional, versatile, and incredibly bright lighting, this light is an absolute winner!

Neewer had never did me wrong, this being no exception. You get plenty of control over the harshness and temperature of the light. The app is also quite responsive.

I am sure there are nicer lights if money is no object. However, for the cost it is fantastic! I think it would meet most people’s needs for content creation or light commercial work. Really love the brightness and color options.

I like everything about this light. Aside from it being a bit expensive lol. It's great though, the colours are vibrant, it's well made and the functions are easy to operate. Full marks.

So far so good. For the price you really can't beat it.

Really well made, so far I've used it as main light for a last minute video. The clamp is really good, I wish that the clamp was this good on the Q4 Flashes, especially with a large soft box attached like the 120CM as they are pretty heavy. I wish it had a nice case to put it in, but I can live with the box.
Colour options and brightness are going to give me a lot of options for future use.
