Illumination is good for macro , the articulating and flexible nature allows for multiple methods of attaching it to many different stationary items.
This light has been very handy to have on hand to light wedding rings when I take macro photos of them during weddings that I photograph. The light is easy to manipulate which is what I find the best for macro photography of rings, especially when I'm doing it solo! I can wrap it around things or even my neck to light the rings.This is pretty valuable for what it does, the battery seems to last forever too, I haven't had to charge it since initially getting it and I've been using it for a couple months.Great light for the cost!
I was impressed with this little light. It comes with several accessories, including projection attachments that let you create different lighting effects, which was a fun bonus. The flexible arm makes it easy to position exactly where you need it for close-up photography, but I could also see it being useful on a workbench or hobby desk.
Was really solid, but also larger and heavier for my minimal needs.
Gets hot but all around works great for macro work!
