The Neewer basics line is the "entry" level but still Neewer quality stuff. There's no wifi / bluetooth / app control. But I supposed you don't need it. This is a solid color light w/ some snoot shadowy stuff. I'm not quite sure how to use those artistically, but the light is definitely useful for practical effects. Very easy to use.

This is definitely an interesting light that I will be taking with me in my lighting repertoire. It's got an all-metal construction that feels very sturdy. It's a very bright and precise flashlight that is able to change into four colors and has many filters to you alter the shape of the light. It's a very simple device, but I can see it being used in many creative ways. I'd say it's worth giving a try, and seeing what you can do with it. Highly recommend!

This is a small light fixture with a rubber snoot that you can add plastic gobo screens (included) to. It comes with a wide collection of gobos that you can snap into one end of the rubber snoot to project an image on a background or subject. The light is a bit larger than expected but it is built like a brick, all metal housing with substantial weight for a lamp of this size. Rechargeable via USB-C the lamps light output is bright for a lamp of this size but I wish that it did come with a diffusor of some sort which would add to its usefulness. The projected image is a bit soft and there is no way to sharpen it, WYSIWYG. Overall I like this lamp and with a coupon code it is a good value. Add a silicone diffusion dome or softbox and this would be a 5 star light for travel.

I was really impressed with the quality of this light. Great fill, spot, and effects lights. The color temperature is pretty close to spot on. Easy, one-button operation. Definitely a good value for a useful tool in your photography bag.

A robust heavy mini spotlight with a silicone Snoot attachment and 20 GOBO filters for some very creative close up effects. Adjust the spot size by extending/retracting the lens hood. To turn on press and hold the dial button and also rotate it within 5 seconds. Rotate the dial button for brightness and tap it to change colors white, yellow, red and blue. Press and hold to turn off. Comes with a 1/4in x 20 socket for tripod mounting and I would suggest a light stand or tripod ball mount adapter (not included) for angles other than basic tripod head movements. Then a tripod head is not needed. The instructions says one can download the complete manual from www.neewer.com but I couldn't find it nor is it really needed. Overall an excellent way to get into Snoot/GOBO photography without spending a fortune and having a nice spotlight for effect when desired.

The NEEWER BASICS RGB Flashlight (FL10) absolutely exceeded my expectations! It’s compact, solidly built with durable aluminum alloy, and incredibly versatile. The 4 color filters and 20 gobo patterns give you tons of creative freedom—perfect for adding visual interest to portraits, product shots, or background ambiance. The light output is strong for such a small unit, and the battery life is excellent thanks to the 7500mAh capacity. Overall I am very happy with it, I’ve only used it in studio but I could see it coming in handy on location as well, it’s easy to use, works as it should and provides a great value at its price point. I’m a big fan of Neewer products and this rgb flashlight is a perfect example why!

This is not an ordinary flashlight with some cut outs, no it is bigger and heavier that I expected. I like that it has these cutouts called GOBO's, which is a fancy word for cutout template for lights. This is something to use at close range with in 10 feet or so, as the light throw is not that strong. The rubber piece that holds the gobo was testing my patience trying to the gobo in, but I got I in- not sure if it was me, but that gobo did not move lol.Once it was all setup, it was quite easy to use and move through the different settings and brightness values. I think this would be a good setup for a budget photographer/videographer that needed a short range lighting effect in their work.
