I wasn’t looking for it, but the Neewer RGB 1 Tube Light somehow ended up in my gear. Curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to give it a spin. I wasn't expecting much—just another light, right? But after a couple of shoots, it quickly found a permanent spot in my kit. The colors? Bold. The portability? A lifesaver. I even made a YouTube review on it because I was genuinely impressed.
Fast forward to a few days ago: I saw it on sale, and guess what? I bought another one. Not because I needed it, but because I wanted to. That’s saying something.
So yeah, if you’re on the fence about getting one, don’t be. It’s not just a light; it’s a game-changer.

(I hope Neewer doesn't delete it) why would they? :)
I wanted a desk lamp that would clear the extra tall monitor height of my set up so I bought this to combine with the "NEEWER Extendable Camera Desk Mount" and a couple of other items. The end result is perfect for my needs. The light is nicely diffused, very bright and compact. Complete with an easy to use, very well laid out app. Neewer have fast become a name I associate with quality and innovation and I strongly recommend this light bar.
I love this for my photography, it's compact, versatile and lots of various light options.Other than photography, my daughter used it for camping light over a 3 day concert and it lasted the whole time without charging. She especially lived to various lighting modes which gave her a rave/ disco effects which she says was pretty cool! I may just keep it in the car in case of emergencies
Great light stick, but a few minor quirks
I’ve been using the NEEWER RGB1 Magnetic Handheld Light Stick for a couple of weeks now, and overall, it’s a solid piece of gear. The RGB colors are vibrant and there’s a nice range of settings for different lighting effects. The magnetic feature is super handy for mounting it on metal surfaces, which is a big plus for hands-free use.
The build quality feels premium, and it’s lightweight enough to hold for extended periods without issue. The battery life is decent, but I’d love to see a bit more longevity on a full charge. My only real gripe is that the controls can be a bit finicky at times, especially when switching between color modes quickly. It’s not a huge deal, but it can be a little frustrating when you're in the middle of a shoot.
Overall, it’s a great tool for content creators or anyone who needs a portable, colorful light source. Just a couple of small tweaks could make it perfect!
