The lights are well packed inside this as bulb, stand and softbox and you can easily keep them within the packaging after use to protect them, the bulbs especially. The kit throughout feels well designed and of good quality. I have bought a cheaper softbox in the past and it is quite flimsy compared to this, both box and stand. These feel really robust and like they are made to last. A diffusion cover can then be applied (it's easy to apply and there are strips of velcro on each edge to hold it in place).That basic set up mentionned above is the same for both sets, the difference is the bulbs and remote control. The full colour lights are controlled via an app you install on your phone, while the bi-colour lights have a dedicated remote which you pair with the bulbs . The Bi-colour bulbs are much brighter than the full colour ones and that's why I prefer them. I've attached an image showing a comparison - the photo isn't great but it gives you an adea of what both lights output at when set to 5500 kelvin. For photography, a brighter light is beneficial, if you're using these for video then the coloured lights might be better, but small LED panel lights are so powerful and cost-effective these days that I'd rather use them for a splash of colour.The stands feel a bit better than the usual budget ones, they are a bit thicker but work in the same way. The carry bag is nice and thick and fits everything in. I was prepared to spend, reluctantly, the money for the Peak Design travel tripod as it ticked all of the boxes. At a third of the cost of the Peak Design I bit the bullet and ordered one. I was not disappointed. The build quality is excellent and I couldn't happier with my purchase. I particularly like the locking mechanism for the ArCA Swiss plate. It's click and lock mechanism makes setting the camera up a snap (no pun intended). Its compact folded size means that it fits easily into the water bottle pocket of my camera bag. With enough 600Ws output to overpower sunlight, fast recycle times that keep up during sessions, reliable TTL and high-speed sync, long battery life, and a Bowens mount compatible with a huge range of softboxes and modifiers, it delivers results that feel close to much more expensive lighting systems. I personally liked how portable it was for location shoots, and the battery never let me down — I only needed to recharge it once I got home. The main downside was that my Canon R50 required the Canon AD-E1 adapter for reliable wireless triggering, as Canon’s R-series cameras can sometimes be finicky with third-party flash systems. Before using the adapter, I relied on the camera’s built-in flash to trigger the Q6 remotely, but that added unwanted extra light from the camera itself. Once properly set up, operation was seamless. I also mounted the Q6 onto a tripod using a spare mount, which made it far more portable than carrying around a large light stand.
