So far so great! I've used this on a couple of shoots so far and it has worked great. No flickering or power failures. In the most recent session I run it into a parabolic softbox, bouncing the light back towards the subject. My one quibble is the way that umbrellas mount to this unit. There is no tightening nob for the umbrella. It's sort of held in place by a bit of metal that pinches down. Granted, I haven't had any problems with this so far, but I'd feel better if I had a little twist nob. Great value for the money too. I have lights from Godox, Amaran, and Smallrig and this is right up there with all of those. Dials are smooth and easy to use, build quality is good and I love that it comes with a storage case, something that some of the more expensive brands on my list fail to include.
In terms of quality of light, amount of features, and price these lights cannot be beat. I’ve worked with GVMs, Nanlites, Aperture, etc. and these lights are right up there. The body is hardshell plastic but they feel very sturdy. I have two of the 130w model and one of these 300w. They’re excellent lights. They’re very bright and the colors hold up nicely. The app is easy to use and unlocks all the features. I can change Lighting on the fly very simply, make adjustments as I’m setting up my camera. All around fantastic light at a fantastic price.

This LED video light is exceptional with the very intuitive smart phone app to control it. Unlike GODOX devices, this lamp system comes with a long heavy duty electrical cord and a professional connection to the light unit. I highly recommend this light for video.
NEEWER is such a great brand for the price! This light is extremely versatile and and essential for cinematographers on a low budget! I have the 130w version as well and the quality is fantastic!
