NEEWER FL100C 115W Flexible LED RGB Video Light Kit with Softbox

Brilliant studio light! The colours are really vivid, and I absolutely love the included softbox. The controller is great too — really intuitive to use.

Recently I was on location in Wales, on a barebones crew—OK, it was just me! Doing everything!I’d use some larger (very expensive) panels on a movie and loved them—everything about them.But flying to Wales with cameras, audio, lighting, luggage, snacks & sandwiches, I needed small, light, and nimble. And affordable.I bought two of the NEEWER 115W Flexible LED Video Lights, fully prepared that they may not fit my need. But I was actually shocked! Easy to set up (on location a dude just hanging around wanting to help set one up for me with 30 seconds of instruction, and one “do this now!” across the room. And bright—yes!Are they directional—nope—they’re a big splash of light. Think of them as a south facing huge window. They do have egg crates which helps calm them down and behave, dimmable and color temp control so in that regard they are manageable.For all those reasons and cost, they just did what I needed, with zero drama—other than finding power in a 150 year old buildings.I bought a rifle case—UK customs loved that! which housed both lights + 2 decent size stands. I had to remove their top stage, which was easy.Seriously, if you need a decent “splash” of light in your package, give these units a try. The picture's not the best, but you'll get the idea.

As a first flexible light, the Neewer FL100C is an excellent choice. The color quality, portability, and creative flexibility make it clear why flexible LED mats are gaining popularity. This light is pretty awesome. It's my first flexible LED light and I'm very pleased. Love the fact that it can be controlled by the app. The light is very bright also love the case it comes in. Will be getting another one soon that's how much I like it.
