Description

  • Heavy Duty Light Stand- Made of 100% robust stainless steel, this C stand can mount strobes, moonlights, reflectors, softboxes, umbrellas, and other photography gear with exceptional stability. The inner buffer spring can reduce the impact caused by sudden drops
  • Adjustable Height & Extension Arm- The center column with 3 sections is adjustable from 4.8ft to 10.5ft (146cm to 320cm) with a foam grip to prevent slipping in transit. The 4.2ft (128cm) extension arm with a 1/4” and 3/8” mounting screw on both ends is compatible with most equipment
  • Metal Grip Heads- The grip heads can lock the extension arm with a firm grip and allow flexible angle adjustment. Four holes in each grip head can fasten rods, arms, and umbrella shafts in different diameters
  • Foldable Turtle Base- Turtle base with nonslip pads allows sandbag placement for adding stability without scratching the floor (sandbags not included). Legs and can be folded flat for space-saving storage

          As a professional photographer, I have purchased many tripods and light stands due to their bolts and locks coming loose or braking within months of using them. This stand is made in such a way that you will not need to replace them any soon. Yes, they are more expensive but the benefits are many, including: The material is impossible to break, the legs spread wider than any other stand, giving your lights more stability (we all had lights falling on the ground and braking due to the tripod not having a good base), they can adjust to bring your lights higher than normal stands, and you can use them for vertical lighting as well as using the extra arm to position them horizontally on top of your model's head or product to achieve the desired look. Some times spending a little more, will mean saving money in the long run by not having to buy light stands for a very long time, besides, your studio will look next level.

          Excellent bit of kit, solid and well made, very sturdy in the studio, have yet to use them on location, but I feel they are well up to the task. Great price and very quick delivery, all in all well pleased with the whole process.

          I’ve used this for boom setups on professional corporate shoots for the past year and can safely say it’s very good. It cost me a little over £100 at the time from amazon warehouse which considering most c stands can run £200+ this is incredibly value. It is a heavy stand as it’s full steel. So for a beginner if you are run and gun do not bring this.

          Been using this on indie movie sets and it's a good, practical stand that can support a lot of weight. easy to adjust. Probably the best quality you'll get without spending double the price or more. Just check to make sure it can handle the weight of your light.

          We needed new light stands that require less ballast to hold them stable with larger lights and modifiers on them. Having one that also quickly swings into a boom is also a nice bonus. These work as expected and are very stable and sturdy. They are anything but light weight. These are steel and quite heavy, but for studio use when I want lights to stay put and will not be moving them often, this fits the need. I may purchase the optional wheels for the stands in the future to improve mobility, but for now it hasn't been an issue.
