Fantastic cage for my iPhone 17 pro. I bought 2 for both a horizontal setup and a vertical setup. I love how the lens attachments lock in with the clamp, which the older 15th cage didn’t do. Great job neewer!

Much better design than versions for previous iphones., ie lens plate can’t accidentally fall off. Needs to have proper facility for attaching safety lanyard so it can be used on scaffolding on building sites. Also you need to make secure solid arca swiss adapters that fit securely and won’t twist.
I previously owned a similar cage for my older iPhone 13 Pro (from another manufacturer). It was a good product that I used everyday. But I decided to get this iPhone 17 Pro cage from Neewer, because Neewer was the only design that allowed access to the camera control button. The cover for the button area is secure, but it can get lost easily (if you remove it). Here are my initial impressions: The quality and design of the Neewer cage appears equal to my previous iPhone cage. The silver color of the Newer cage is similar to the silver color iPhone 17 Pro. The closing latch for the cage is secure and reliable (perhaps slightly better than the competition). Access to the USB port also is a bit more roomy for USB adapters too (compared to the competition). I like how the different lens mounts attach to the cage without using screws. The competition instead used three very small screws for the lens mount, but these would loosen and fall out (and were difficult to replace). Although the 67mm filter mount works very well, it is very difficult to attach securely. Also, the 67mm filter mount is not centered with the three iPhone lenses. It was designed this way to allow full access to the Mag-Safe feature. This is a good thing. Unfortunately, I have a mini LED light ring that can attach to this mount. The 67mm filter mount causes part of my mini LED ring light to block a corner of the wide-angle camera lens. So, I will have use the ultra-wide angle lens or telephoto lens instead--when using this mini LED ring light. In summary, the Neewer model is high quality and has some features that are not on similar cages. I am happy with the purchase.
