This is a diffused lights and they create a soft shadows+ you can set it up on any colour! I just love it!
I love these lights! I've been eyeing them up for ages after I've found myself really struggling using the acetate sheets for gel lighting using strobes, so finally decided to take the plunge and invest in a set of these and I couldn't be any happier.They come in a great carry case so they're easily transported, and there's styrofoam inserts for each bit of equipment so they're nestled safely away for transportation.They're really easy to set up, the stands and the lights themselves are lightweight but not flimsy, and it's so easy to change the lighting using the control panel on the back, and even easier to do it via the app! It's so cool to be able to just get my phone out and remotely change the lights without having to go onto the set to do it myself.So happy I bought these, I've only had chance to test them out on a couple of subjects so far (like my cat!), but I'm very excited to continue my photography journey with them.
These are the third set of Neewer lights I have and like the others are well made and easy to use. The app is easy to set up and easy to operate, allowing control over all functions. The lights give a large amount of soft light. They also have colour and effects mode. The stands are well made and go to a good height. The lights can be run off two batteries. A very good set of versatile lights.
Bright, portable and a large light source makes for even pleasing lighting. Even better if used with diffusion.They also connect to the app so you can control them from behind the camera which makes adjustments easy.
This is the best lighting purchase I've ever made. I love how versatile and programmable these are. They can also be grouped in the same app which makes expanding your set up a breeze. With the v-mount batteries purchased separately, you can go completely mobile. I feel confident to handle any lighting situations and appreciate this system Neewer created. Packing and storage is also well done.
Having used an older version of these for a few years, I decided to upgrade and damn, what an upgrade! They are well built, the carry bag is well thought out and the lights are soft and well diffused. They are now a permanent fix in my trunk for in Restaurant food shoots.
Very happy with these versatile and economic lights. The app which controls them from my phone is also excellent and some exact what it's supposed to (despite some disgruntled reviews you might see on the App Store).
Fantastic purchase!! Highly recommend. They are super light and easy to transport. I love the adjustable settings and the fact that can be cordless is a bonus.
