- Precise PWM Dimming & Bi Color Light- With PWM dimming technology, brightness levels are precisely adjustable from 0 to 100% in 1% increments without any flicker. 4 dimming patterns (exponential, logarithmic, S, and linear) meet all requirements for accurate lighting adjustment. - Dual Power Sources with Cable Lock- The light can be powered by the power adapter and power cord (UK Plug) for continuous operation. The XLR power input is designed with a cable lock that prevents the cable from loosening, as so to ensure constant and reliable illumination. The light can also run on a V mount battery (sold separately) for convenient and cordless lighting. The output voltage of the V mount battery is 16.8V

I purchased this Bi color cob light because it fits amazing in small to big studio as you can dim to 1% and special in this price range no other brand meeting such quality and lux value. I will use this light as a key light. It’s literally very powerful. I love one thing the fan is very quiet your video or sound quality will stay perfect without any noise. Thanks to NEEWER making a great products matching a elite quality in budget.
Having used simple LED panel lights for many years I was unsure as to how much better a 'proper cob light' would be. So I took the plunge, not an easy choice in these financially constrained times.
Well, rest assured the difference is light and day. The power, the versatility, the ability to add so many types of light modifiers. It is simply worth every penny.
I also bought a Neewer C Stand and once again the difference to a normal tripod light stand is crazy. The flexibility to position the light. the stability and and ease of adjustments make this also a no brainer, buy now, if you can.
If you want to know how much difference it has made, after buying my first Neewer FS230 I bought 2 more, and after the first C stand I bought another 2 c stands. Spread over a couple of months it has been worth the investment.
The studio is now more professional, the lighting control makes such a difference and customers can see a professional set up. let's hope I can earn the money back!
Sorry about the messy photos but as you know it can be a mess 'behind the scenes'... 3rd Neewer FS230 arriving this week.
Loving this light, I am using it and an Arri HMI to shoot prices to cameras from the shade of a hotel balcony with the middle east sun lighting up the back ground. The Neewer is brighter, a lot lighter (excess baggage), a lot cheaper, has variable colour tempter, can dim, app remote operation and more. Next job I will be using 2 of these and leaving the Arri at home.
Very powerful, smooth light. I'm using it at 25% for my streaming setup so there's plenty of power for bigger shoots. Very nice smooth gradient between tones, very solidly made and quiet.
Superb product. Very powerful yet extremely flexible in its use. Fantastic with the Neewer 90cm soft box.
Very Good quality with affordable price
Very bright light, easily controllable . Reasonably well built, very happy all round.Just note that if you buy a small rig V-lock plate (I couldn’t find a Neewer one for sale) and cable to power it via batteries, it is the wrong polarity and you’ll need to rewire the XLR end the opposite way round. Or get a D-Tap to XLR cable made up.Once I worked that out I was happy that it could be used via batteries or mains power, most useful.You’ll need a decent lighting stand too as once rigged , especially with a soft box, it can be front heavy.
some lights claim low noise but this is actually silent and can't be heard in a quiet room
